Designed for every day life
My pieces are inspired by everyday life, From pottering around the house, garden or a walk to the shops. The garments are made for dressing up or dressing down.
Clothing that moves with you throughout the day making you feel comfortable. That's why you will often find pockets and elasticated waistbands in my designs.
Carefully chosen fabrics
I work mainly with natural fabrics such as cotton & linen blends
While I love the look of linen, I often choose a cotton/linen blend fabric because they hold their shape better and crease less than 100% linen. The fabrics still have that relaxed natural feel but are a little easier to live with day to day. It also softens with every wash and it doesn't sit so rigidly on your body like some linen fabrics do.
The linen and cottons are breathable too, making them perfect for clothing that is worn regularly and loved over time.
Thoughtful Design
Rather than chasing trends , I focus on simple designs that can be worn again and again. Pieces that work across seasons and feel just as comfortable at home as they do out and about.
Made With Care
Each garment is designed, cut and sewn in my garden workroom, where I take the time to focus on the small details that make a piece feel well made.
